First off, congratulations to Dwack for winning the regular season with 265.5 (!!!) total points. That’s some really amazing pretty good picking!!! However, we all know that it is the playoff performance that separates the really good teams from the all time great teams! So, we’re introducing a playoff multiplier to make up for fewer games on the schedule so more of us can try to pull a Nick Foles and chase down the leaders!! Here are the multipliers we’ll be using:
* Weeks 18 and 19 (Wild Card and Divisional Rounds): 4x !!!!
* Week 20 (Conference Championships): 8x !!!!!!!!
* Week 22 (Championship): 16x !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We’ll still be allowing confidence picks for the really brave (or desperate!!) even though there might not be 3 games on the schedule. So, a perfect score for the championship round will net you 80 (AHHH!!) points whereas an entirely wrong score with confidence would lose you 8 points. The take away here is that if you can stay within 88 points of the lead going into the final week, we’re saying there’s a chance!
