So last week I got a little underwater with work and didn’t blog… Ugh. I’m sorry.
Then Buffalo (who I maxed confidence points on because I love a good Monday sweat and I love the Bills) went for it on 4th and 1 instead of kicking a game tying FG, as they should have (Josh Allen was 13/14 on such attempts prior to that try… and the one he didn’t make was a botched snap; and the defense was gassed and didn’t have much of an answer to slow down Derrick Henry… and the coin flip is a tough break… ok I’m done). Did my lack of blogging cause some form of bad juju that led to this Buffalo mishap? This is a lot to sit with. What is for sure is that it kicked me off the top of the leaderboard. But not Merlin, who instead CRUSHED with 136 points, Thomakel at 128 was second. At third, we have a tie with two names that look like wingdings (tell me you remember) who both managed 109 points. TeamShamrock and Huliostevio at 97 round out the top. WELL DONE.
Ok this week is the weirdest set of scores I have ever seen. Like, I have a 15 point favorite winning by 16… If you code like me, these big ole spreads are messy. If you code better than me, which is most, I am sure you have an edge that’s razor sharp.
