Confidence Picks!!!

This is a very pretty good update…

With three weeks left in the regular season, we needed a way to climb the leaderboard, or assert dominance if you’re already at the top — don’t worry we’ll still be picking until the Super Bowl, but there will be fewer games and thus chances to climb the overall leaderboard in the post season. 

Here’s how… confidence picks.

You can pick up to three games to add (so one game, two games, or all three) to get extra points — if you’re right.  But if you’re wrong, you lose points. Here’s how it works:

• One right: 1 point! (in addition to your point for a correct pick so two total points)
• Two right: 3 points!! (in addition to your two points for correct picks so five total points)
• Three right: 5 points!!! (in addition to your three points for correct picks so eight total points)
• One wrong: -0.5 points
• Two wrong: -1.5 points
• Three wrong: -2.5 points

I repeat, these are optional, completely optional. Think of it like this… if you pick three confidence games you could lose up to 2.5 points, but you could earn up to 8 points. EIGHT points. Three points for picking correctly and 5 points for the multiplier! Whoa.
